As women we have to live with so much. Just having your period can be an intense experience, add to this the women with PCOS, endometritis, fertility issues etc..

kolo came about after a year where I had 3 miscarriages (I've now had 4). I felt awful, my body was confused, my brain was all over the place. I just wanted to at least wear something that made me feel a little better. 

There was one pair of trousers I kept coming back to, they weren't perfect, but they helped. But they were summer trousers, made from cheap material and several years old. 

I searched the internet high and low for what I was looking for, a pair of high-waisted trousers, with pleats at the front and some stretch, wide-legged and ideally made in the UK from sustainable materials. I couldn't find them. 

So, I decided to just try and make them. I work in eCommerce and always dreamed of starting my own brand. I realised if I didn't try I'd always wonder what if. 

kolo trousers are made from the best quality materials I can find, luxurious thick and soft fabric for winter.

The material is sourced from either plant-based, organic and recycled materials as much as possible. 

They are made in the UK, as my Mum always told me to shop local. 

They are made to order, so that you can choose the right size, length and colour for you, and so that as much waste as possible is eliminated. 

Most of all, they are made to help women feel themselves at times when maybe they can't be.
